WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS RESEARCH STUDY?

The purpose of the registry study is to gather information that will help us learn more about preoperative optimization of patients’ underlying comorbidities, modifying surgical techniques and or protocols to improve outcome and reduce complications rate, reduce both short term and long- term postoperative complications and ultimately length of hospital stay. If you take part in this study, you will be asked to give us permission to review your medical records. You are not required to undergo any procedures, or make any additional clinic visits to participate in this study. Information collected from your medical records will be stored in a database and used for future research studies related to colorectal surgery.
